It's time for a thrilling adventure on the ARK Nintendo Switch servers, with the Ragnarok DLC! There's a DLC called Ragnarok that was released on PC and now it's back on Nintendo Switch. You'll meet dinosaurs, explore new biomes, find treasures, and a whole lot more in Ragnarok. ARK: Survival Evolved's Ragnarok DLC isn't canon, but some areas in it mirror The Island and Scorched Earth DLC maps.

With so many magical creatures to meet and tame for your ARK tribe, which one will you add to your team first on your ARK Switch server? With Ragnarok's unique environmental features, you'll get to explore a unique gameplay experience while playing with your friends. You'll be able to see lava flows and meteors rain down from an active volcano that might erupt at any time. Or seeing Basilosaurus corpses on the beach. You can also travel to the massive mountain peak for a view from above and see the volcano spewing fire and ash into the air.
You can try Ragnarok on your own ARK Switch Server by heading to your ARK Switch server webinterface and stopping your server. Next, on the left side under "Settings", select "General". Inside your server settings, find the "Mapname" option. This dropdown lets you choose the "Ragnarok" DLC. Once you've selected the DLC, click "Save changes". Now that you've got the Ragnarok DLC loaded, start your ARK server! Ready to start exploring Ragnarok?
As you walk through this new land with your friends and fellow survivors, you're in for a lot of fun. Besides massive beaver dams and an active volcano, you'll encounter Megalania and Dire Bears, deadly creatures you'll need to fight. As well as a bunch of amazing treasures buried in ruins and sunken Viking boats.
